The Krone inn in Lautlingen had been closed for a long time. Then the family who owned it approached us with the request to help them bring the traditional inn back to life. Guests from near and far would once again be able to eat, drink, celebrate, and enjoy themselves in the renovated and lovingly furnished rooms. There were also plans for a new building with several hotel rooms and a farm shop.

The results from the workshop provide the basis for initial mood boards. Our mission goes far beyond the design and furnishing concept. We roll up our sleeves and get stuck in with the owners. First, we search through Grandma's barn for original finds. This results in a unique room concept.

First, the new building with hotel rooms and a farm shop will be completed. Mood boards form the basis for the interior design. Our goal: a modern ambience and stylish feel-good atmosphere that guarantees warmth, comfort, and functionality. The Swiss stone pine beds make an important contribution to the perfect stay, not only promising healthy sleep but also filling the rooms with their wonderful scent.

Our interior designers carefully go through the plans with our skilled carpenters. They implement the ideas of their colleagues. Trend-conscious yet traditional, the inviting Krone world is created.

Some things are left as they are, while many others are reimagined and reinterpreted in an original way. Long-forgotten stable equipment is spruced up and given a whole new purpose as shop fittings.

With their vintage look, barn finds evoke memories of the good old days. They blend beautifully with modern elements.

It is precisely the many small details that we value and that make all the difference to the overall picture.

MEET ME

While renovation work is underway at Krone, we are simultaneously developing the entire CI with a customized corporate design for Krone. With a selected typeface, graphic elements, and uniform imagery, the revitalized restaurant business is gaining a brand identity befitting its status.

On site, on screen, or in print—we design and write in such a way that every encounter with the Krone is always inviting and always something special. As we delve into the long history of the inn, we are convinced that the Krone must continue to write its story!
