For us as an agency, interior design firm, and exhibition stand builder, sustainability is a key issue. It is both a commitment and a promise. We are consistently advancing our sustainability strategy and have recently received certification to that effect.
The ISO 20121 certification sends a clear message: We don’t just react. We actively shape the future, guided by clear values and a commitment to continuously develop all areas of our business in a resource-efficient manner.
Sustainability
in Action
When we talk about sustainability, we mean it. As a family-owned business, we see it as our responsibility beyond preserving nature to operate sustainably in other areas as well. We are passing on to future generations what the company’s founders entrusted to us.
Since June 2026, we have been certified under ISO 20121 (Sustainability in Event Management). For us, this means new structures, clear processes, precise documentation, improved communication, and regular audits. This enables us to offer our customers more efficient concepts, modular systems, sustainable materials, and improved resource management.
We promote ecological sustainability through the use of modular systems, sustainable materials, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
We focus on sustainable business practices with efficient processes, diverse business areas, and long-term partnerships.
We strengthen social sustainability through personnel development, health management, high occupational safety, and the continuous optimization of our communication and organization.
Traditionally, exhibition stands were built using solid materials, which were then disposed of after dismantling. We have always relied on compact modular construction. Examples of this are modular raised floors and lightweight walls (aluminum frames covered with fabric). This saves material, time, transport volume, and storage space. Assembly and dismantling are considerably faster—with better handling and increased work safety.
We offer our customers eco-friendly, bio-based, or recycled options for almost all important materials. A good example of this is our “Eco Floor” carpet. This single-material floor covering is returned after removal and processed by the manufacturer into backing for new floors. 100% sustainable.
Sustainability only becomes visible once it is implemented. High-performance solar power systems with a total output of 125 kWp operate on our roofs, supplying over 70,000 kWh of electricity annually. After all, developing brands and setting trends requires energy! Not only for our charging stations, which are available to our visitors and our own vehicle fleet.
Atelier Türke applies the highest standards of fire protection and occupational safety, and not just in exhibition construction. The materials used are strictly controlled and certified. Processes and buildings have been brought up to the latest safety standards. This is ensured by a qualified safety officer.
Unbelievable but true. At Atelier Türke, 30,000 hard-working bees provide us with honey once a year—directly from the beehive on our meadow. There is also an herb garden there. Combined with herb seminars and other offerings, this is an all-win situation for our health management.
