The two medical technology companies Cryolife and Jotec are merging. First step: external communication. The new name “Artivion” and the new corporate design are introduced and publicized. In the second step, the focus shifts to internal communication. Artivion wants to grow.
Our phone rings. We are now on board. We are commissioned to take care of internal branding and build the Artivion employer brand.
Listen, absorb, get to know. We work with HR and marketing managers to develop the strategic concept. The employer brand is created from the key image and core message.
Why work at Artivion? The answer lies in our products and solutions: at Artivion, we save lives together! To do this, Artivion relies on the strengths of each individual employee. Every link in the chain is important and contributes to saving lives.

Your strength. Our strength. The employer brand slogan is born. The graphic designer immerses himself in the design. He determines the typography and colors for the employer brand. He translates the strengths of the employees into different icons.
The result is 36 strength icons, 10 lifesaver icons, 13 career icons, and one icon for the company building. They offer enough choice to insert the meaningful symbols in the appropriate context.
Tiles come into play as additional design elements. Each tile features an icon. Several tiles are joined together and arranged in such a way that they form the key image of a “link in the chain.” This tile structure is at the heart of the employer branding design.
During the design phase, employees pose for photos. The portraits of Artivion employees make the employer brand unique and authentic. Later, they are incorporated into the design according to the objectives.
Wherever employees, graduates, students, and professionals encounter Artivion, the company presents itself as an attractive employer brand. Whether in advertisements, on large billboards, or in the “Strength Box”—thanks to its modular design, the concept can be flexibly implemented on all advertising materials and media, both offline and online. The objectives of HR managers to attract and retain employees are supported to the maximum.

Internally, the summer party was the perfect moment to roll out employer branding with a gift for all employees. In the next step, interior designers and graphic designers will design rooms, walls, and signs. Spread throughout the company building, employer branding is making its mark.
It reinforces internal brand management. As soon as they arrive at the parking lot in front of the company buildings, employees, customers, business partners, and visitors get a good impression of Artivion. The brand experience starts right outside the door.
