MULTIVAC – WORLD LEADER IN PACKAGING SOLUTIONS

Climate-neutral exhibition stand
as part of the sustainability strategy

HELLO
MULTIVAC

MULTIVAC is a leading global provider of packaging solutions for all types of food products, among other things. Every day, this global player reaches 1.5 billion people with its products! To take the next step in the company's sustainability strategy, MULTIVAC needs a partner who is a pioneer in its field: namely, to work with those responsible to develop and implement a climate-neutral exhibition concept for the first time.

DO IT

We combine all wishes and requirements into an overall concept with storytelling. MULTIVAC gives the green light for the implementation of the concept: the basic idea, architecture, structure, design, and materials find their way onto the exhibition floor. In close coordination, the desired climate-neutral, resource-saving exhibition appearance is created. We present the impressive strength of the friendly Allgäu company on 1,400 square meters of indoor and outdoor space.

MATCH UP

Technology supports sustainability

In a successful interplay of analog and digital elements, people, the environment, and technology merge into a powerful whole at the stand. Printed brochures are dispensed with in favor of RFID cards. Visitors to the stand can access the content they want using the reusable card

scan them at scanning stations. They are then made available to visitors in digital form. The RFID card has another important function, namely planting a virtual tree. In this way, all cardholders support the Allgäu mountain forest project.

The production lines are an integral part of the stand area. We place information stations, known as “Experience Points,” in the immediate vicinity of the large machines. They convey the innovative strength and services of MULTIVAC.

The embedded monitor provides detailed information about machines, processes, and innovations. Part of the “Experience Points” is a glass element filled with lush greenery: the concept of sustainability is always present. In addition, the greenery is a welcome accent and counterpoint to the shiny stainless steel giants and the prevailing technology.

We showcase the diverse packaging solutions in a sales-oriented and appetizing way on shelves and in display cases.

With the stand design, inspired by the modern pre-Alpine architecture of the Allgäu region, we emphasize the origins and identity of the packaging specialist. A lot of wood is used, whose lively character gives the stand a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to large, curved, and visually stunning ceiling banners, MULTIVAC can be seen from afar by exhibition visitors. Those who have already arrived at the stand are completely drawn in by the large LED screen.

The collaboration with the Allgäu-based company marks a milestone for us. Together with MULTIVAC, we are proving that it is possible to consistently pursue a sustainable future in the exhibition sector. The climate-neutral exhibition appearance receives consistently positive feedback when Multivac presents itself for the first time at the leading global exhibitions for the international food and beverage industry, Anuga Food-Tec in Cologne and IFFA in Frankfurt.

RE-USE ME

An impressive 90% of the materials used in the stand are reusable, and the remaining elements are fully recyclable. Solid glass panes will last for several exhibitions, as will the robust oak flooring. The experience points with moss-covered walls and the product display cases are designed to be reusable, even on smaller stand areas. Carpets and cabin walls are 100 percent recyclable.

Sustainability is even practiced in the catering: only regionally produced food that has traveled short distances is served at the long bar and the tables decorated with flowers.

Explore interactively

An effective guidance system at a exhibition booth is crucial for providing visitors with a pleasant and stress-free experience. This is where our specially developed interface comes in as a useful tool. The transparent LED screens are not only real eye-catchers, but also intelligently guide visitors throughout the entire exhibition booth.
